Daikon Mochi is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It’s easy, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. Daikon Mochi is something that I have loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

To get started with this recipe, we have to prepare a few components. You can have daikon mochi using 4 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Daikon Mochi:
  1. Make ready 1 medium size Daikon (White Radish) *about 300g
  2. Make ready 1/4-1/2 teaspoon Salt
  3. Make ready 1 cup & extra Glutinous Rice Flour
  4. Get Oil (Canola, Sesame, Olive, etc.) for cooking
Steps to make Daikon Mochi:
  1. Remove skin and finely grate Daikon. It should look like shaved ice or wet snow. Add Salt and Glutinous Rice Flour and mix well. You probably need to add extra Glutinous Rice Flour to achieve the firmness that you can form round cakes by hands.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon Oil in a large frying pan, non-stick pan preferred, over medium low heat, place 5-6cm rounds and cook until golden on both sides and cooked though.
  3. Serve with Ponzu (*OR 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce & 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar), Sweet Soy Sauce (*OR 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce & 1 teaspoon Sugar), OR a dipping sauce of your choice.

Cold water fish are great for eating if you wish to fight depression. Salmon, herring, tuna, mackerel, trout, etcetera, they’re all loaded with omega-3 fatty acids and DHA. These are two substances that increase the quality and function of the gray matter in your brain. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can really help you overcome depression.

Grains can be wonderful for overcoming a terrible mood. Barley, millet, quinoa, etc are excellent at helping you feel happier. They help you feel full as well which can truly help to make your mood better. Feeling starved can be terrible! These grains can elevate your mood as it’s not at all hard for your body to digest them. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps jumpstart a rise in your blood glucose which in turn kicks up your mood to a happier place.

Green tea is actually good for your mood. You just knew it had to be in here somewhere, right? Green tea has a lot of an amino acid called L-theanine. Research has proven that this amino acid promotes the production of brain waves. This helps sharpen your mental energy while simultaneously making the rest of your body more relaxed. You probably already knew it is not difficult to become healthy when you drink green tea. Now you know that green tea can elevate your mood also!
