These are two substances that increase the quality and function of the gray matter in your brain. It’s true: eating a tuna fish sandwich can seriously raise your mood.

Grains can be good for overcoming a bad mood. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all great for helping you feel happier. These grains fill you up better and that can help elevate your moods also. It’s not difficult to feel a little bit off when you are starving! These grains can elevate your mood because it’s not at all difficult for your body to digest them. You digest them quicker than other foods which can help boost your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel better, mood wise.

Your mood can actually be helped by green tea. You knew green tea had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is rich in a certain amino acid called L-theanine. Studies have found that this specific amino acid can actually induce brain waves. This will improve your brain’s concentration while at the same relaxing the rest of your body.
