Gizdodo is a simple side dish that is often served with rice; especially Jollof rice. It is easy to deduce from the name that this meal will be basically made of gizzards and ripe plantain.   1. Get Gizzard
  2. Take Plantain, curry, thyme, spring onions, green pepper
  3. Prepare Red pepper, tatashe, tomatoes, onions, salt, seasonings cubes,

Instructions to make Gizz-dodo:
  1. Dice the plantain and gizzard, blend the red pepper, onions, tatashe and tomatoes to form a pepper mix,
  2. Boil the gizzard before frying it and the plantain, put and empty pot on heat, add groundnut oil, add sliced onions, let it fry, then add the pepper mix, let it fry, then add the curry and thyme and the seasoning cube, salt. Then add the fried plantain and gizzard, let it cook, then add the green pepper, spring onion, cover and turn down heat for 3mins. Then drop from heat.

The more of it you have, the happier you are going to feel. Not only that, nuts, particularly, are a fantastic protein source.

Cold water fish are great for eating if you want to fight depression. Cold water fish such as tuna, trout and wild salmon are rich in DHA and omega-3 fats. Omega-3 fatty acids and DHA are two things that improve the quality and the function of your brain’s grey matter. It’s the truth: consuming tuna fish sandwiches can really help you battle your depression.

Some grains are actually great for repelling bad moods. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all really wonderful for helping boost your happiness levels. These foods fill you up better and that can help elevate your moods as well. Feeling famished can actually bring you down! These grains can help your mood elevate because it’s not at all difficult for your body to digest them. You digest these foods more quickly than other foods which can help increase your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel more pleasant, mood wise.

Green tea is truly good for your mood. You were sure green tea had to be included in this article, right? Green tea has been found to be rich in an amino acid called L-theanine. Studies show that this specific amino acid can basically stimulate brain waves. This helps improve your mental acuity while having a relaxing effect on the rest of your body. You probably already knew it is not difficult to get healthy when you consume green tea. Now you know that green tea helps you to lift your moods as well!

So you see, you don’t need to stuff your face with junk food when you are wanting to feel better! Try a few of these hints instead.
