Stir-Fried Noodles: If you are using egg noodles, wheat noodles, or buckwheat noodles, boil the noodles to the proper doneness. If you are using rice noodles or mung bean noodles (cellophane noodles), soak the noodles in hot water until they are soft. After soaking or boiling, drain, rinse and drain again. These are two substances that increase the quality and function of the gray matter in your brain. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can basically help you fight back depression.

Some grains are actually great for driving away bad moods. Barley, quinoa, millet, teff, etc are all good for helping you feel better. They can help you feel full for longer also, which is a mood improver. It’s not hard to feel a little bit off when you are starving! The reason these grains are so good for your mood is that they are not difficult to digest. You digest these foods quicker than other foods which can help boost your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel more pleasant, mood wise.
