The ingredients needed to make Gizdodo:
  1. Get 2 ripe plantain
  2. Prepare 10 ciken gizzard
  3. Take 10 Scotch bonnet
  4. Take 1 onion
  5. Prepare 5 tablespoon cooking oil
  6. Make ready 4 cubes seasoning
  7. Prepare Spices (garlic, ginger, black pepper)

This is one of those recipes "invented" from excesses or in order to reduce food wastage. If you've read through my older posts, you'll know that I love plantains…. a lot. So you bet I also love Dodo gizzards☺. Gizdodo as I like to say, is basically a fusion of chicken gizzards and plantain (also known as dodo) stewed in a peppered sauce.

Instructions to make Gizdodo:
  1. Cut plantain into cubes cut gizard into 3from its segment
  2. Sprinkle salt on diced plantain perboil gizard with spices seasoning cubes and onion
  3. Fry plantain and gizzard separately then in another fying pan mix scotch bonnet onion spices and fry ligtly
  4. You can add a little water for more juice
  5. And enjoy with delicious jollof rice on the go

DHA and omega-3s are two things that really help the grey matter in your brain function a lot better. It’s true: eating a tuna fish sandwich can earnestly boost your mood.

Some grains are really excellent for fighting off bad moods. Barley, quinoa, millet, teff, etc are all great for helping you feel happier. They fill you up better and that can help you with your moods too. Feeling starved can really make you feel awful! The reason these grains elevate your mood is that they are not difficult to digest. You digest them more quickly than other foods which can help boost your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel better, mood wise.

Green tea is truly good for your mood. You were sure it had to be included in this article, right? Green tea has been found to be rich in an amino acid called L-theanine. Research has proved that this amino acid stimulates the production of brain waves. This will better your brain’s focus while at the same loosening up the rest of your body. You were already aware that green tea could help you feel better. Now you know that green tea can improve your mood also!
