The ingredients needed to make Oven Stew:
  1. Prepare 2 1/2 lb round steak (cut in 1 inch pieces)
  2. Take 2 cup potatoes (cut in big chunks)

  4. Prepare 1 cup celery (big pieces)
  5. Take 1 cup onions (big pieces)
  6. Prepare 1 can tomato soup (10 ounces)

Instructions to make Oven Stew:
  1. Preheat oven to 250°
  2. Assemble meat and vegetables in a deep 9x13 casserole dish or a cast iron dutch oven in the order given and season with salt, pepper and garlic
  3. Combine soup, water, sugar and flour in a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour soup mixture over layered meat and vegetables. Cook covered at 250° for 5 hours
